You plan the week — flights, beds, tee times, transfers, the pricing. We facilitate one day of it: the cask day at Larch Grove. Everything below is a suggestion of where ours drops into yours, and nothing else on these lists is ours to sell. Drive times are from the bond in south Carlow.
You book the courses, the caddies and the beds. We are showing you the geography so you can see how the cask day drops into a week you have already sold — usually as the rest day between two links rounds, when the group is glad of a walk on flat ground.
Ten of the fifteen best-ranked courses on the island are inside three hours of Larch Grove. Whatever week you have already built — east coast links, the south west, a Northern Ireland run — the cask day fits it without moving a single tee time.

Societies already have a mechanism for collecting money from the members once a year. Each seat-holder gets their own login, their own samples and their own allocation of bottles at the end. A seat is a share of a barrel, not an investment.
Most golf groups come back to Ireland eventually. This one has a reason, a year, and a job to do when they land. The Harvest is in the cask record from the day they fill it, and it cannot happen anywhere but here.

Flying Tumbler is independent and family-owned. It was started by brothers Patrick and Thomas Walsh at Larch Grove — the family farm at Ballytarsna, Nurney, Co. Carlow, and the address the bond now sits on.
The name is a real breed of pigeon. A flying tumbler climbs, throws itself backwards through the air for the sport of it, and then finds its way home without fail. That is the whole idea of the brand in one bird, and Paddy has been on the bottle since the first one.
We do not distil. We source, cut, mature, marry and bottle by hand at Larch Grove — which is why we can hand a cask over to a group of people and let them do the work themselves.
